Payment Options

Payment/Financing

Bossier Ophthalmology Clinic/Red River Eye & Laser Center accepts the following methods of payment:

  • Cash
  • Personal Check
  • VISA
  • MasterCard
  • American Express
  • Discover
  • ChaseHealth Advance (see ChaseHealth Advance section below for specific procedures)
  • CareCredit® (see CareCredit section below additional information)

We accept most all insurances for services that are covered by insurance, including Tricare (military). We take Medicare assignment (which means we charge only what Medicare allows and the patient will owe only their co-pay and any remaining annual deductible if that has not been met).

Please bring your insurance card, a picture I.D., and a list of your current medications when you come for your first visit.

LASIK Patients

Your initial consultation is free-of-charge. If you wear contact lens, please bring your prescription to the consultation. If you wear glasses, please bring those.

Full payment for Lasik procedure is due the day of your Pre-Op Evaluation.

Cataract Surgery

Medicare covers your cataract surgery and the cost of a "standard" lens implant. If you choose to have a "premium" lens implant such as ReSTOR, Toric, etc., you are responsible for the additional cost of the "premium" lens.

Payment of that additional cost is due the day of your Pre-Op Evaluation.

General Eye Care & all other procedures

The co-payment for an examination is always due the day of the exam.

ChaseHealth Advance
