Cataract Surgery
at Planchard Eye & Laser Center

Dr. Planchard has performed many thousands of successful cataract surgeries right here at Willis-Knighton Bossier Health Center.

In addition to the standard cataract procedure, Planchard Eye & Laser also offers a range of vision enhancement options which for many patients result in vision superior to what they experienced before cataracts.

Dr. Planchard was the first in North Louisiana to perform the TECNIS® IOL lens implant, which enables many to see near, far away and in-between without glasses.

The Toric lens implant is more effective in correcting pre-existing astigmatism in the cataract patient.

Small amounts of astigmatism can be corrected with limbal relaxing incisions during cataract surgery.

Additional vision correction can be accomplished with post-operative Lasik for most patients.
